Litomo has developed a completely new technology that allows the cutting and polishing of extremely thin and light natural stone sheets up to 1500x750 mm. This system reduces not only the amount of stone required, with a final thickness of about 4.5 mm for the largest format, but also the waste of stone in the cutting process. It requires less energy for manufacturing and transport and also reduces the amount of water used in the process, which is constantly recycled.
At Litomo we manufacture and market both natural marble and alabaster slabs, reinforced with mesh, for use as cladding, furniture manufacture, etc., as well as lighting elements and other objects made from these materials. Due to their very low weight, these products are particularly attractive for use in renovation, shipbuilding, aerospace, caravanning, etc.
For special uses we can produce smaller formats and thicknesses, double-sided polished marbles or we can study the most suitable solution for your architectural projects, construction of stands, office partitions...
